Meet Simon Shirley, Lead Concierge at Symphony Park

Meet Simon, a warm and welcoming professional hailing from the charming town of Maidstone, Kent, England. Simon’s journey began after graduating from culinary college, leading him to the prestigious role of Footman in The Royal Household, where he catered to the needs of the esteemed Royal Family. His notable service extended to Buckingham Palace, various palaces, castles, and even The Royal Yacht, honing his skills in providing top-tier hospitality.

In the mid-80s, Simon crossed the Atlantic to infuse his expertise and passion for service into the United States. Over the years, he has seamlessly transitioned between roles as an Estate Manager, Butler, Chef, and Chauffeur, predominantly serving affluent families. Recently, Simon, accompanied by his lovely wife Rachel and their two delightful four-legged companions Spencer and Charley, made a heartfelt move from Florida to the Lake Norman area, where they found immense joy in their new surroundings.

Simon’s life is centered around his deep-rooted faith, cherished family, and a close-knit circle of friends. He particularly treasures moments spent with his daughter, Barbara Jean, a dedicated Police Officer in Georgia.

With genuine excitement for the journey ahead, Simon is eager to bring his warm and welcoming demeanor, coupled with his extensive service experience, to the role of Concierge Lead at Symphony Park. With a genuine dedication to hospitality and a talent for crafting memorable experiences, Simon anticipates infusing Symphony Park with his distinctive Royal Touch. His goal is to ensure that residents and guests feel genuinely embraced and cared for in every interaction, creating an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
